Same here....i had a sears pm1 for 9yrs....sears no longer carries them and found out Odyssey made them for sears. I bought one few years ago and it's same battery...pc2150 is the model number. I got it from batteries plus.

Hey Mike, for how long have you been running one now? And wondering what kind of electronics/other accessories you power from it in addition to starting duties?

A few years. Several hds lowrance units. These batteries are made by DEKA and are very high-quality. Please just compare the specs to others.

Yes, one of the best for the price out there. I have them in a Deka 31DCM. To go up from them you would be looking at a trojan SCS or 30XHS. I am running 3 of these now but most don't like the price or weight but the weight is what makes a lead acid battery. CJ

Yes, trojan 30xhs for everything now. I just pulled 2 of the dekas out that were ran on my trolling motor that have 4 years on them and still run like new. We will run them at the cabin until they are dead, 3-4 more years guessing. A lot of deep cycle batteries are capable of starting duties but not listed as such. The trojan SCS battery is listed as a cranking battery along with a deep cycle rating and is the exact same battery as the30xhs that is listed without a CCA rating Cj

Many of the new outboards require more CA than a trolling battery will deliver.... I ran trolling/deep cycle batts for years as a starting battery... Many of todays outboards need 1000 min CA and the batt I linked has 1380 CA.
