I have one I purchased new and love it. I use mine a lot and it needs some TLC like new carpet etc. but the layout is fantastic and storage is very good. I prefer to remove my front pedestal seat when tournament fishing as I feel this really open up the front deck space. They are also pretty fast with a healthy 200 on the back. I replaced my 70-lb trolling motor with a 80-lb MK Maxum and it is a big improvement.

The 195/295/294/295 all have the same exact same hull but a different top cap layout. One could argue it was the best hull Stratos ever made. The 201 might have a slight edge but the hull you are talking about is a proven good hull design. As for the motor if it is a 4 stroke then it is newer than the boat because in 2004 Yamaha was only making 2 strokes. I like Evinrude but in my opinion Yamaha would be my choice if Evinrude was not an option. Yamaha reliability is great...now with anything that is 14 years old it could be good or bad. It just depends on how well it was treated the last 14 years.
