    B'ville

The big O is gonna be up and muddy (again), thinking of heading to the 'Ville this Sunday. Any reports? After smallies and LM with both kids.

    Thanks in advance, Mike

I was up there yesterday in 4 hrs caught 11 but with 3 txs there this weekend it’s going to be covered up.
I,d rather be tried by 12 than be carried by 6

Fished USA Bassin there yesterday caught 40 fish between me and my 13yr old boy. Weightless fluke. Main lake rocks

I'm picking up my new boat on Saturday and was thinking about going to Brookville to break in the motor. How busy is it going to be considering the holiday weekend? I really don't want to drive 3 hours south to Cumberland.

With the river continuing to be up this weekend, the added number of pleasure boats will be crazy over this holiday weekend. The only thing which might keep those numbers down would be the possible rain in the forecast for here. If you are just going for a few hours to break in a new motor, one might suggest holding off until later on Monday afternoon after many of the Buckeye Navy have gone back to Ohio...

I wouldn't even bother with trying to put a boat on Brookville this weekend it will be a total zoo. I guess if you got it down there at first light on Sunday or Monday, you might have a couple of hours before the ski boaters and jet skis clog the ramps and the lake.

That shouldn't be too hard. In the last three years, I'd guess 90% of the bass I catch at Brookville have been smallmouth. You should have some fun. Good luck!

Went to Brookville this morning, for a couple hours. The lake was nearly deserted. Had a good day, for me. Caught several smallies, nothing big, but fun. All of them were about 2 lbs or less. Unfortunately lots of trash around the ramp left over from the weekend I guess.

Yep...I was there yesterday morning for a few hours. They are biting for certain. Not getting any that were over 2 lbs though. Most smaller than that. But it sure is fun!

I hope to get down there tomorrow. I'll try to let you know. They may have slowed down some as we have had a small cold front come through.

I did go down there Wednesday. The bite was still on. Not catching anything over maybe two pounds, but lots of fish, as usual mostly smallmouth.
