    What Mr. Goff said, 100% silicon sealant Champs did not come with 4200/5200 OEM and nor does a brand new MTI. Don't over think and keep it simple.

    To clarify, the only reason I used 5200 is to seal a 1/2 separation in my transom. There is no other use I can think of on a boat.

    Hey I'm going to use 5200 on a west system'd piece of 5/4 marine plywood to instal a hot foot....wow crazy I even thought of that use for 5200 on a boat...lol
