    Generally, it’s best to comply with an LEO’s instructions

    The cops pull the guy over and his plate comes back as having a concealed carry permit. They ask for his name, some ID, and for him to exit the vehicle. He fails to comply with any of these completely legal requests by the officers. He is warned repeatedly what will happen if he fails to comply. But, he refuses to do so. Warning-graphic.

    Being nice and polite goes a long ways. I didn't know your CCW status came up when they run your plates. 3 times I have been pulled over and not mentioned it and the officers didn't either. I lucked out of tickets all 3 times also even though I rightfully deserved one.

    I've been pulled over a few times for speeding since age 21 and have always offered my handgun permit with my license - the guy who taught my class years ago said it's better to go ahead and let them know there is a weapon on you and they have even thanked me for letting them know. Still haven't gotten a ticket (fingers crossed)
