Which four bladed prop for My 202?

Looking for a four blade for my 202. I already have a Tempest 27 Plus that was tuned by Shawn at Steves props. I believe I’ll get a bit better handling and hole shot, not to worried about top speed and I need a spare prop.

You can easily run a 26. That was my rough water prop for my 202.

What was the overall 'feel' of the boat afterwards?

What kind of numbers did you all get?

Will the four blade have an impact on fuel economy?

It will help cruising fuel mileage. Or did on mine and everyone I know that has one.

Would the Trouphy 28 Plus be to big?

Great deal in the Props4Sale forum.

    28? That's pretty stiff order. I KNOW you can run a 26.
    I'd take a pass.

I at least most of the time, run a 4-bladed copy of a Raker prop. I believe it is an exact copy of that blade design. Will look for numbers if you are curious but not sure what company made it. I traded for it used. Actually has good bow lift.Good top speed and the part I really like is good cruising mileage. Tried several and it works best for my boat. Boats differ.

Okay, I've found a Trophy Plus 25 in good shape and price. Man these things are like hen's teeth! I know some have suggested the 26 what differences can I expect?

I suspect a quicker hole shot with the 25 but lower speed, 2 or 3 mph no big deal 5 or more may be.

I also suspect the 26 will have greater lift. As I'm fighting some porpoising now that greater lift may help, but then again more seat time and skills would help too!

LoL! Got the 25 and it was a super deal!

Wouldn't you know it? A 26P showed up just this morning in the Prop4Sale forum but I was already semi-commited and this was such a good deal couldn't pass on it.
