Stress cracks
Where are some of the spots that stress cracks happen? I know about the ones in the corners of the splash well and transom. I'm looking at a boat and it has a single crack on top of the gunnel near both consoles. It also has some major cracking by the cupholders in the middle where the center seat would be. Would all of these be just stress cracks or could it be a sign of a major hull or stringer issue? They are almost all in a line across the boat. TIA

Most likely just stress cracks. Thoase are all common area for them. Unlikely would be structural damage unless it’s taken a major impact some how or another. The boat wouldn’t feel right going down the river if it was structural.
