2016 ZX225.....name for carpeted vertical boards?

One of my half moon "bumper guides" already has a carpet tear 6-8 inches long...
may be able to glue it...exploring replacing it...

sort of irritates me that its 2018 and high end boats still have the 1960 style/materials for bunk
boards etc...

also the black covering is gone from both retractable tie downs
so if you have the best stainless ...please post...

otherwise I may just sand them a bit and spray with bedliner type paint...

You can get a hold of EZ loader. They will have replacement side pieces. Just wait, the "K" in the Skeeter cut out logo will be long gone before you know it.

Finally got the Arkansas # and had to leave a message...not much of an EZL fan over the years...no call back after hours...
used contact cement and clamps for the large top tear...

I cannot understand with all the super tough plastics available why we have top of the line boats (of any brand) with what appears to be unpainted wood
and carpet that is not really for the outdoors...in 1970 we had the same....at least EZL could have them as an option....

Also...the racket tie downs are losing their black coating...one is so gone I took the rest off and sprayed it with bedliner paint today...$52,000 rig...
and sort of in shock after 8-9 Skeeters to get so many problems inside of 30 months....most inside of a year...

I had that happen with my older 2012 trailer. I just got some bunk board carpet from Bass Pro and stapled it on to the old board. And an FYI. The new "Skeeter" trailers aren't much better.
