Yeah $3500.00 on a $65-70K boat is not something I would even consider being different! I'd just get whichever I wanted and be ready to fish.

Now on a $20K boat $3500 might be worth considering.

Heated seats? In a bass boat?!? Is this a thing now?

Once you put poles and proper electronics on the L model you are $20k over a C? I shopped and bought the 2018 C, for me it was no brainer

I calculated a $13k difference between the L and C boats with the same Mercury motor. Needless to say I bought the C boat.

It took me five years to warm up to the C boat. It will probably take just as long to warm up to the L boat.

You cant buy one of a website. Better go to a few dealers and get pricing. And the Phoenix hear locally is more like $66,000. I think you will be more like 5 to 6 thousand more for the 520C over a phoenix with similar equipment.

Rangers are not cheaper! If you are pricing a 520c it will be over 70,000. If you are pricing an 520L it will be over $80,000. They are supposed to be price controls on the 520C's too. I have seen some year old Rangers that were discounted probably to about cost. I guess dealers make about 4% on a 520C. As I mentioned I have been priced a 920 Phoenix at $66,000 that included 12" and 10" Humminbirds, 2 poles and an Ultrex.

Just because the L boats have MAP pricing that exceeds 80k doesn't mean the dealer can't discount the price by thousands and be competitive with Bass Cat, Skeeter,Legend and other high end boats.

The devil is in the details, but so as not to mislead potential 520C and 520L buyers, the base price for a 520C is $67,995 and for a 520L $68,795.

I just purchased a 520L loaded with G2 and power poles. The NAP was actually helpful. I got quotes from 5 different dealers and the pricing varied from NAP to 5000 below NAP. I live in Maine and figured I would have to travel anyway. I ended up making a 2600 mile round trip but was able to get in on a custom order that was already in the system and the boat came in 4 weeks after I placed the order.

C boat has the better console button layout than the L boat, in my opinion.
