    Helix 10 mega SI question

The other day i was doing some scanning and the right side of the SI turned extremely dark. Almost to the point of not being able to read it. I have played with every setting i can think of and i got it to were i can read it but it still significantly darker than the left side. Has anyone else had this issue? If so what was the fix the unit is only 6 months old.

I have seen that reported occasionally and it usually is the left side SI crystal that has failed. Contact Humminbird Customer Service.

I have the same unit and I have the right side go dark as well from time to time. Transducer is mounted in the middle of the boat by the draining plug and nothing blocking the return to the ducer but i have dark right side also

Just got off the phone with hummingbird. They are going to send me a new transducer. If that doesnt fix the issue then i have to send the unit in.
