Swim jigs?

Get a .25oz Dirty Jigs Swim Jig, put a Net Bait Paca Chunk on the back and throw it into and around thick shoreline grass. Be sure to shake that rod throughout the the retrieve and hold the hell on because things are going to get violent very soon. Be sure you take all applicable heart medications before leaving the dock. If the lakes in your area don't have thick shoreline grass, put your house on the market, quite your job and move somewhere else, ASAP. You can find a new house and a new job but life is too short to spend it dragging a damn shakey head or drop shot around rocks every time you go fishing.

Up in Wisconsin (home of Dirty Jigs) we call that "Alabama shakin" it works! To the OP I use finesse swim jigs in open water/sparse weeds, HD swim jigs for above mentioned technique...I don't throw spinnerbaits at all honestly...its all about the swim jig for me.
