    New Nitro Boat Impression

Sold my Nitro 2015 Z8 to my Brother. Bought a 2017 Nitro Z21 with a 300hp Racing engine with a big end of year discount (-$6000). Got 5 hours break-in on the motor. As advertised it will hit 75 mph. Difference between the Z8 and Z21 is that the Z8 was like a race car and the Z21 is a smooth running, fast and non-chine walking boat.

What are your thoughts on the Bravo prop, I just took my Fury 3 24P off to try out a Bravo 1 XS 26P this weekend.

Interested bison and Texas what you guys find rpm and top speed with bravo as I’m in the same “boat” literally and figuratively. Happy w fury 24p but want something a little different... btw respectable speeds Texas...300 will push 70mph no matter the load

Bison and BigBadBass, I have not put the Bravo 27p on yet. Using the Fury 24p till I get about 10 hours on the boat. Its actually a very good prop. I had a Bravo 26 on the Z8 and it was a perfect all around fit. I like 4 blades because it tames the boat and makes it more fun to drive. The 75mph gps with the Fury came at about 5850 rpm with a little less than 1/4 trim. Every boat take time to learn and I'm still learning about his one.

Wow 1/4 trim and you haven’t hit your rpm limit and 75... I bet you will squeeze out another 3-5mph!

Maybe!!. I replaced the Fortrex with an Ultrex and I thought about taking the boat out without the Ultrex on to see what it would run but it was too windy. One day I think I'll strip the Talons off and the Ultrex and see what she does.
