Night life, fun things to do, and good fishing - Nashville. Beautiful scenery, laid back attitude and looking for good fishing and outdoors activities, East TN.

Nashville is as far west as I'd go. We have nothing over here past that lol.

It’ll be hard to beat Nashville or maybe Memphis.

The Smokey Mountains can be crowded in June and July.

Plan accordingly when making travel plans and arrangements.

Due to traffic and curvy roads, in the Smokies, what you think will be a 30 minute drive will take 2 hours.

I live in Memphis. Pretty much a stink hole. Nashville is a great clean city. We go there often for the night life. Anywhere east of there is really nice. Gatlinburg, pedgion forge, Knoxville, Cherokee national Forrest

Cades Cove is a neat place in the Smokies.

We were going to Gatlinburg this weekend but decided on Chatanooga with the big car show there. The traffic is a nightmare on a car show weekend. I haven’t done the tourist thing in Chattanooga in decades.

Nashville has half the restaurants in the entire state and it is a premier foodie town. Why not fly into Nashville and spend a few days and fly out of Knoxville or Johnson City--open jaw? You could take in both Nashville and Pigeon Forge that way.

I am a Nashvillian by birth but just love East Tennessee and the Smokies. Both Middle and East Tennessee have many, many great lakes.

Mountains of Eastern Tennessee, away from people.
Hike, fish, swim and enjoy nature's offering to you.
