How is Shelbyville fishing right now? We have a club tournament there in a few weeks and I am trying to decided if its worth the 3 hour drive.

There is a BFL this weekend.....good luck with that.
Fished there Saturday (5/12). We only had 3 keepers for a little over 6 lbs, but we dumped a few that would have helped a bunch. It took 14 lbs to win. We caught our fish on secondary points with laydowns. Water temps were 69-70 on the main lake and 71-72 in the creeks.
Fished a club tourney on 4/29. There were 23 of us, and only 5 guys brought fish to the scales. Only 1 had more than 1 fish. It was brutal.
I'm not dead yet.....competition is the life blood of any human being
Man sounds like I might just stay home
I am thinking of going up there this weekend and staying north away from the memorial day crowds. Seemed like the last time I went there several years ago the farther north I went the less people I saw.
Have the lakemaster maps and have been looking at it to see where I may want to launch from. Advice on that?

Go to Coffeen - Sangchris - or Newton instead, no water plows to deal with!
Caught a few crappie unintentionally lol. But that’s normal for there. Caught several white bass and one keeper largie.
Boat traffic was high as expected. New boat handled it very well. Need to get back there in the fall.
What will the boat traffic like next week on Shellbyville ?
Shelbyville boat traffic will be ridiculous on the weekend from now until Labor Day. Shelbyville sucks!! Enough said haha.
