I use Dobyns Fury 702 with a diawa revros and 8lb test FC Sniper. I love my fluke setup and can cast a mile.

I use a Phenix PHXC764MH casting blank that I built as a spinning rod. Same rod I use for tubes on the Great Lakes, 7'6" helps me casts a mile and plenty of backbone for a hookset. Phenix runs light so it's really more of a M. For tubes I run straight flouro but for flukes I use 20lb PP Slick to a 10lb flouro leader.
this vid discusses some good Fluke rod/reel combos
What size hook, what type and how are you rigging it? This is more important than your rod bud.
I prefer spinning tackle for flukes because I can cast farther and also because it is much easier for me to skip under docks and trees with spinning tackle. I like a 6'3"-6'8" medium power xfast rod for super flukes and super flukes Jr and I step up to a mh xfast when I'm fishing the bigger mag super flukes or around heavy cover. I normally just use 10lb trilene xl but around heavy cover I also use 20-30lb braid. One trick I've learned that really helps with hooking fish is to use a regular wire gammy ewg hook and to texpose the hook. Bring it all the way through the bait when rigging then barely stick the very point of the hook back in the top of the bait. And another tip is to reel slack on the bite until the line is nearly tight or you feel the fish before setting the hook
I like aa Loomis CR723 GLX for a fluke; Berkley Jerk Shad , bait of choice
