    Flush Mounted Electronics

I have a 2012 Puma with the newer style console. Currently i have a HDS 10 Gen 2 flush mounted and just took the plunge to upgrade to a 12 Carbon. I really don't want to cut a bigger hole in the console for the 12. Has anyone come up with ideas to cover the existing hole and mount electronics with a mount instead.

My buddy bought a black plastic cutting board and cut it to the right size. He then used the dash electronics mounting bracket to mount the plastic.. it looks great.

Precision Sonar makes a great mount! It covers the existing hole and adjusts to fit any size graph. Also, the grooved inserts where your electronics mount can be swapped out in case you ever change brands (Lowrance, Humminbird, Garmin all use different groove patterns)

it's expensive, like $275.....but no need to ever get another one
