How long of a rod would fit in this boat? Any advice is appreciated, thanks! Looking at buying one.

^ Agree with above. I have a few 7 foot rods. You have to be real careful and guide them up into the nose of the locker. It gets narrow up toward the bow and you have to gently guide them.

I don't believe there are any modifications you can employ. Your locked into how the boat is designed. I can't speak for 7'6" rods as I don't believe I have any. "Carefully" is the key. Your have to feed the rod up the locker and bend it around the curve in the hull sort of speak. It's not real hard to snap or bend an eyelet of the rods. Don't ask me how I know

I have a 190 dc with moose heads in it. I put 4 - 7’6” rods and multiple 7’ rods in there. You can’t be affraid to bend them into the first few holes towards the middle of the deck. They fit fine especially if you have socks on them.

I've got the same boat and all of the advice above is accurate. If I take my windshield off to play the angle, I can get my 7'11" rods in the locker with socks on them. It takes a little finagling, but it can be done.

Good luck with the new rig and post pics when you get it home!

I have a 96 190 DC. I can get a 7'6" rod in. It was helpful to me to "clean up" the wiring harness to the trim and navagation light panel. I also have the front transducer and power cable on the side I use as a rod locker. Tie all the wires together in a neat bundle with cable ties. If you can get some sort of sleeving, maybe Velcro type, it would be even better.
