Phoenix 721 - Yamaha SHO 250 - 8' Blades
76mph on 921 with 10 inch atlas hydraulic and 24p fury. McCallister Marine demo.
Sweet lookin rig!
I think I have one ordered. I was told I have a spot in production but no other information from dealer. If I get said boat it’s supposed to have the 4 stroke Pro XS.
721 w/250 PRO XS 4 Stroke end of this month.
I think that boat and motor, the 24 is going to be really close for the prop to use year round. I'm guessing 74 at 5900 after break in. :)
Breaking it in now and let you know soon!!

First phoenix with one
I bought this boat and it came with a 25 fury. It was a dog out of the hole so I went to a 24 fury and that helped a lot. As far as top speed it's gonna take someone with better driving skills than I have to see what it's got, but I have had it to 73mph loaded heavy and I believe it had a good bit more left. I have no complaints with the motor, I really like it. Overall this boat and motor are a sweet package.
From the picture it looks like your motor is sitting too low, have you checked your Prop to pad. I run mine at 2.75 to 3 inches. I have a 919 and I get 77 to 78 out of it with the 25 fury on two-stroke Pro XS I am now waiting on a re-power to the four stroke hoping to still run my 25 fury and not to lose any speed.
I am picking my 2019 920 up tomorrow. Had a bunch of
special little details done to it.
Good eye Hookedup2! It was 4.25 below pad when this pic was taken. I have raised the motor 1" and I think it needs to come up a bit more. I haven't been able to tell any difference in top end between the 24 or the 25 but the 24 comes out of the hole better for sure. I'm hearing some chatter that these motors like the 24 and that's what I'm seeing with this boat.
