    I know you can push a button and go into stealth mode with the motor very quiet but the muscle car sound is pretty nice.

    If I am doing the math right on the mercury website (23 pitch, 6150 rpm's, 1.75 gear ratio, and 73 mph) that comes out to 5% prop slip. Does that sound plausible?

    The new lower unit is supposed to be very efficient. Hearing of slip #s below 6%.

    I ordered a new Phoenix 920 ProXP with a Merc V8 4 Stroke. I am being told it will be ready for pick up on 15 July. I ordered a bunch of upgrades and just really excited to get this thing back to Florida to fish this summer.

    By looking at the pic's ,the mid-section look's to have a wide mid-section like the older 300X motor's.
