That line up seems pretty odd. Why have a v6 and v8 of the same motors? Seems they could cit that line up down to 3 basic designs and cover the whole range

I don’t ask questions when I am told that my 919 is going to come with a 4.6L v8. I just accept it when it gets here and burry the hotfoot..

I think only the Pro XS’s and new Verados will be V8’s. The non high performance 200 and 225 will be the V6’s and probably cost less. At least that is what I am thinking anyway.

What’s your thought on top end performance compared to the 2 stroke?

Ken Smith is picking up his new Ranger today with the new motor. He has a youtube channel that is pretty active and he says he'll have video within the next 48 hours. I know a Ranger is not a good comparison, but I'm curious anyway. Weird they sent it with a 23 Fury 3 wheel. Seems way under propped.

520's are only turning a 25 fury to 57-5800 with pro xs's. 23 should be right with a 6200 limit.

Snappy doodle indeed. I am now glad that I didn’t buy that 819 with a Pro XS 200 2 stroke this spring. I also feel sorry for dealers with left over 2 strokes. I hope Mercury throws them a bone and helps them get rid of them.
