    Navionics platinum vs HotMaps Platinum?

Anyone using these? Is the HotMaps worth the extra $50?

    thanks,

Platinum+ is mostly offshore/foreign countries. Hotmaps Platinum is regional North America.
They have 3D, Satellite Overlay and port photos in addition to the maps (Nautical Charts and Sonar Charts).

Don't know where Bernville is, but if you want freshwater coverage, Hotmaps Platinum or Navionics+.

I just use Navionics+, it allows for chart updates and community edits.

The Hotmaps Platinum is a great card. Wayne is right though, the Platinum+ card is a mostly saltwater/offshore/great lakes card, and the Hotmaps Platinum is more relevant for bass fishermen. The biggest difference between the Navionics+ products and the Platinum card is that Platinum offers advanced features like Satellite imagery, and 3D views, while the Navionics+ cards do not offer either.
