I’m really tempted, but there are a whole bunch of other things that have to be changed as well. Not a simple swap like I hoped it would be.

Going to use my Pro XB until it is done, by then the wait at least a year like you were saying will probably be over. Lol.

If you already have a Mercury from my understanding it will be a lot of things interchangeable so it may not be as that much that needs to be done.

I’ve been trying to keep up with it in the merc boards. So far: 1’ shorter throttle cable, longer shifter cable, new fuel line and ADDED WATER SEPARATOR (not sure why now after all these years it’s become needed). Have to change to the new included battery cables and a new clean power harness (whatever a “clean” power harness is). And there’s one more thing required that I’m not remembering.

Uh huh. But, will it stay together? We'll never know until it's released to the public and run and abused for a year. That's when any bugs are found. Don't get me wrong. I hope it's bullet-proof, works great, and lasts forever.

That 3.4 liter 175 Pro XS V6 is going to be a good high performing engine as well imo.
