The dealer that cannot be named has a one ordered for a 210 Elite. Maybe when he gets it he can put it through some figured 8, slalom, and closed loop turns to see h the engine does.
So have anyone heard the cost of the 250 Merc?
Cost will be really close to the 2 stroke Pro XS. Mercury wanted not to overdo it from what I am hearing.
looks like descent prices,

2019 Ranger Z520C DC / 250 Pro XS 4 Stroke
I like that V8 sound.
any pros have them on their boat yet?
Jacos says they will have them in around mid June.
I am sure it will come with time but with the displacement that motor has, i would think they should be getting a heck of a lot more horsepower out of them?
That thing sounds nasty but loud at idle, wonder if the 250 will be quieter.
yes and no. Look at most 5.4 ford and 5.3 chevy motors and they are putting out well over 325 horsepower with a lot more EPA restrictions on them. Just seems like they are holding back. Like I said, it should come with time. 400-450 horsepower should be attainable I would think.
From what I understand they detuned it for the 200 to 300’s when it is fully tuned we will see the full range. Mercury is doing this in phases. They first introduced the V6 non Pro XS models then the 200 to 300 models. I would think the next would be the 350 and 400 models for this 4.6 liter V8. Are you a Yamaha, Honda, Mercury or Evinrude person?
