You might try Aurora Canvas in Battlefield, MO. I used one of their covers for 14 years and let it go with the boat.

I spoke with them a month or so ago, they said they had covers 'in-service' that were 15 years old and STILL being used for towing.

I have to ask..... were you still towing with yours after 5, 6, 10, 14 years?

I only ask, because if indeed so, THAT IS FREAKING AWESOME! The quote wasn't cheap, quite a bit more than say a Dowco, but if it lasts twice as long (much less three times as long) then it's a bargain.

I had Aurora make one for me last week. Picked it up Friday. I have owned several boats and all had custom covers. This cover is very well built and fits great. I have a 2016 Z21 and the factory Dowco cover ripped in multiple places when I was pulling my boat down the highway. The Dowco cover also leaked like crazy. Dowco would not stand behind their five year warranty because I was not the original owner.

Don’t know where you are in Missouri but here in KC area there’s a guy named Tim Gust. He owns Master Stitcher. Awesome covers. He’s made a couple for me. One for 19 ft. Xpress bass boat the other for a duck boat. Pulled that bass rig around for at least 10 years. Material he used was bullet proof and it was lined. Can’t remember what it was called but he will know. After 10 years or so had him restich it for $35. NBD Stored boat outside and cover was still in service after 14 yrs. Not cheap but the good stuff never is. Also he can come out to your place a make the cover on site. His motto is “no one fits em tighter”. 😂

Yes I was still towing with the cover. It barely showed any signs of wear after 14 years and multiple tows to South TX and back.

Then that's a testimonial that works for me!

Seems I'm going to end up spending that $1100.

had my custom fit cover from boatcovers.com since new in 2010. I got the travel tuff material. still as good as day 1. at a fraction of the cost. think it was $300-400. Aurora and Dowco are nice but I wasn't about to pay those prices. I am more than happy with this option.

My only issue is the Aurora covers don't fit as well as the Dowco ones........at least not any I have seen in person or on their website.

My new Aurora fits like a glove. The fit is much better than the Dowco that come with the boat.

Aurora makes amazing covers. I had one for my Skeeter zx225 that was 18 years old when I traded it away in February and was still in great shape. I could tow with mine up until the day I let it go.

I got a dowco cover for trailering and this thing leaks like a sieve and I've only used it four times and of course it rained every time so I spent some considerable time cleaning the inside and out side along with the cover. So do you home work before you buy.
