    Procraft livewell

Friend has an older Procraft. After filling livewell, the livewell will only pump in new water. The overflow will go into the bilge compartment and the automatic bilge pump comes on. Has anyone added a recirculating pump?

What year and model of Pro does he have? The overflows should vent to the outside of the boat not into the bilge. I have a 92 model and I don't have re-circulation pumps either. I have thought about it but I haven't had the courage yet.

I added one to mine Paul,I put a 2nd Diverter Valve and Control to make it work.
The original livewell should have overflows that either exit out the sides of the boat or back by the drain, depending on year and model.
If it drain into the bilge, someone may have altered the setup.
