It's a battleship....soooo much better than my 195. This boat absolutely loves rough water and stays planted to the water and is rock solid.

It’s too bad they don’t make that boat with a removable passenger console, and a update driver console!!

Loved my 797 and 210, they need to bring the others up to date for guys with a smaller budget!!

I don’t know if a smaller budget exists in today’s world.

Charger catches he’ll for not updating the 6 series and Johnny brings back the boat from the 70s and it’s big news .

Might not know the complete story just what a family member told me when he went to order one. Salesman told him that they were no longer taking orders due to they had a set number to build this year and had already reached that number. To me it was brilliant on JM part he created future sales when a lot of those heritage owners decide to upgrade most will probably look at a Nitro first. Not to mention I'm sure they made a little profit off of all they sold.

The news was he sold a boat that the average person could afford. Bass boats are quickly becoming a wealthy man's only luxury. Growing up on the water in the 80's most boats I saw were owned by working middle class today boats are pricing themselves out of that market.

Joe ran specials on the 396/496 all at 39-42 and people didn’t really like that.39 was the price they were in 2004 -2005 .I don’t think it matters as most don’t have 45 today to spend on a bass boat like they did in the early 2000 era.
