    1995 charger 195 200 merc 25 tempest prop vent holes question

    25 TEMPEST Were to start on vent holes ? just got prop what should I try first ? Thanks in advance

    First try it out without any plugs, by going WOT it on take-off. If it blows out during the hole shot, I start start with with medium plugs one at a time until you stop the blow out. If medium doesn't work, start replacing the medium plugs with small plugs. I had a Tempest 25 on my 200 EFI on a Champ 201 and ran it without any plugs without any issues. Hopefully you can do the same. Once on plane, the PVS holes have no affect on performance.
