    94 S-18 Astro set-up

    150 xri motor, what is a good starting point for prop to pad, 6" manual plate. Thanks Justin

    2" below but PLEASE watch your water pressure. What prop are you running. A 24 trophy or tempest should be good.

    Greg without a low water pick up that may be stretching it a bit. Justin, my 185 max height, prop c.l. to pad is no less than 3 inches. I realize you have a diff. boat so what do I know.

    Pick up a set of high speed water scoops and you should be good to go with the hight. I had a set on my 200 efi on the back of my 200 super pro. I ran it at 1.5" over with no problems.

    I hear people talking about running at extended heights all good and well if it works for them but my boat crabs and has spun out at slightly less than 3 inches.
