How to value?
New guy here! I’m looking at a 1999 x51 with a 2004 Mercury Optimax motor. There’s been a lot of time and money put into this rig and I’m trying to figure out what it’s really worth as I consider an offer. The only issue is the motor is a tad overrated at 115hp. Surprisingly, the insurance company and state law doesn’t care about this. I’ve water tested the boat and it handles fine. Xpress Boats seem to have a great reputation and this rig seems like a good starting point for my son and I. So what’s the best way to know if it’s a fair deal or not? Any help is greatly appreciated!
