Yep, that is why we put that lifejacket on him. There is a handle that makes it easy to move him when he gets to close to the rods too.

I just use the handle on my Chihuahua's vest to carry him to and from the boat,,,LOL
Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill !!
They are convenient, but I'm not going to carry Sam to the boat with them.
