Hoping to make a trip out there to Max on Friday. About an hour a half ride, seeing if it’s worth the ride or if the fish haven’t moved up yet. Hoping to target smallmouth.

Was there this past Sunday. Water was pretty stained for maxi. Couldn't see more than 3 fow. Muddy water coming in from south end. Seen very few smallmouth beds but also couldn't see very well. Fishing wasn't very good either for us. Could be better by Friday tho

Haven't been there this year but there are big smallies in the lake. Make sure your tires are off the road, not even the sidewall touching.
With the upper 70s that we have had, Id go if I could
