    Okoboji Open Results

We had 50 boats fish the Okoboji Open Sunday.

Winning the tournament were Marshal and Mark Halverson with 5 fish weighing 20.60 pounds.

Big fish of the tournament was caught by Jessica Johnson weighing 7.19 pounds.

There is a new Facebook page started. "Annual Okoboji Open Fishing tournament".

Next year's date is May May 5th.

    Thanks everyone!

Wow. 7.19 is a stud for this far north. Some nice bags and very close at the top - 4 bags over 20lbs.
There was a time that I didn't fish but I cannot remember it.

    I’d be calling that a 7. That’s a huge one

Cal, we had 4 bags over 20 at Big Stone last weekend as well. That lake and a lot of nice fish, but I like Okoboji better.

I've been looking everywhere for the results! This is the first time that I have seen them.

I had a fun time despite only finishing 14th. Planning to be there again next year!

Wow! I didn't catch this before. I was not aware Big Stone was capable of this. How many limits?
