1996 javelin 389te 150 johnson fastrike prop size ans set up

Well guys with my javelin im getting 56-58 mph loaded Down two people but only reading 5000rpms jw would a 22pitch raker instead of the 24pitch be better for my boat or is hurting my motor to only be turning 5000 rpms or will be alrite?

I am not a OMC guy , but your RPM's sound's low. I would post this over on the OMC motor forum .

What hole is the motor mounted on? The 22pitch raker would bring your rpm up but the 24 should run fine on that boat which makes me think the motor might just need to be raised up a hole or 2 depending on where it's mounted right now.
