    Fuel Bulb

Any difference in all the brands? Other than size?

Yes, gimme a minute to look up my notes.

Ok, I just had to replace mine again after only a few months. It was a Pactrade brand. Disintegrated as soon as I pumped it this spring. It was exactly 5 months old and NEVER exposed to sunlight.

I'm using a 5 Oceans brand now and it seems good and sturdy.

Yes imo, just replace a 6 month old Merc with a Yamaha and no more issues. The Yamaha is not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

x2 Replace with a Yamaha bulb. Replaced my original a few years ago with another OEM. Still in great shape.

Wow, them Yammies are 26 bucks! I spent 6 for my 5 oceans shipped. Four for the disintegrator, haha.

Nothing like ruining a day of fishing over a $26 fuel bulb.

Yamaha bulb is the only way to go.

    I'm running a 04 250 Vmax 0x66.
Anyone know of the part number? I looked up on Sims Yamaha and they have two listed, 1/4" or 5/16"?
    Thanks,
