cleaning rubber step pads on 819

I am about to spruce up the Phoenix and notice the rubber step pads have a grey weathered look to them. Arent they supposed to be black? Are there any tips out there for a product that will restore the new look to those step pads at the front and back?

303 will make them look good and if im already wiping down the vinyl I will use 303 but if you back wash the boat as much as I do stopping the boat the 303 doesn't last long, I have had best results with black magic tire shine, it make it very black and last quite a while but it can be slick the first time it gets wet after applying.

Thanks to all who replied. There is a spot around the oil fill cap that refuses to turn grey.

Paint it grey. Duplicolor should work. :-)
