    Glen Shoals Lake...

Has anyone fished this lake or Hillsboro Lake? Is it worth the time?? We fished Springfield Lake this past weekend and caught 1 fish...I read Springfield was a good lake to fish..I don't believe them anymore..

Took 17 pounds to win our last Thursday nighter. Think 15 for second. Lake has really gone downhill since 2012. But if you catch it on the right day it will surprise ya. Really rainy and overcast last Thursday.

You definitely caught Springfield on an off day if you only got one fish. A lot of times you'll catch more 13 to 14 inch fish than you can count. Until dog days hit you'll need midteens to contend.

I live on Hoiday shores, and the bite is getting tough there now with these recent night temps and the influx of non courteous folks :)

Anyway, I have never fished Glen Shoals. I thought there was a HP limit?

    Is Yeager any good?

    Sorry for the multiple questions

I fish both Glen Shoals and Lou Yeager. No HP Limits on either. Glen Shoals is better. Springfield sucks completely.

    thank you gentlemen!! Appreciate it.

Greenville does have a HP limit though of 225?

Springfield sucks because of the dock rule or?

Because people don't know how to fish it. Only dock rule is if it's posted or someone asks you not to fish you move on. Springfield is where we take the kids who want to catch a lot of 13/14 inch fish. Takes just as much to win Springfield as everywhere else so they are there. My largest out of there was an ounce shy of 7#. Last year there was several 5 and 6s brought in. It's not my favorite lake but it's close so Ill take it.
