    SPRING TO TORRSION AXLES

    Looking for info.
I have tandem leaf spring axles on my trailer. It’s an Ameratrail trailer. 5500 lb rating hauling my 2010 Sterling 22 XS.

I would like to convert the trailer to torrsion axles.

Anybody have any experience or insight on this project?

I'm no expert. But, from what I have read here over the years, it seems like torsion axle trailers have more problem than the old standard leaf spring trailers. If your springs are worn or broken, those can be replaced easier than going with torsion axles, I would think.

Bent axles and torn up spindel on one axle.

    both axles will be replaced.

3 friends with torrsion axles and no problems with axels.
bearing and spindel replacements. Spindles very easily changed on torrsion axles
