Fury 3 blade vs Fury 4

Do you guys find the Fury 3 blade or Fury 4 to be faster with hulls that lift easy?? I know Mercury says with a heavy load the FURY4 helps but, with other 4 blades I found I lost speed even with a Very heavy load because I run a Phoenix and they lift easy.

I’m running my Fury 4 higher than any prop I’ve tried. Nice hole shot and incredible bite. This prop will not blow out. On my boat loaded the fury 4 is 3 mph faster and when my boat is not loaded it is 1 mph
    slower than my fury 3

You were able to stay with the same pitch going from a 3 blade to a 4 blade?

Bravo on a bird seems to be the ticket. The fury 4 handles great but its more designed for boats that don't lift at all( Ranger )

You think similar with a z21? Seems it doesn't lift either

With the fury props yes now if you were running lets say a 25p tempest then you would drop a pitch for either fury props

Would you suggest the same pitch going from Yamaha t-1 to a Fury on a Z520C and SHO?

I've been told to drop a pitch from t-1 when going to fury but I'm not sure that's right. I run a 25 t-2 and have a 24 fury 4 from my last boat. The weekend before with a heavy tourney load I was running 74-75 at 5950 with the t-2. It was too rough to wind out the fury 4 but at 5900 I was at 68 mph with trim and alot of pedal to go. Didn't adjust the plate either. I'll run it again in cleaner water and see but I'm almost certain I will be all over the limiter with no effort

You aren't in a Ranger with that kind of speed I assume?

not unless he’s Roger Rose (Ghost Comanche) setting up a Ranger. That man can put his fingers on my boat anytime
