My Cougar FTD will barely get on plan loaded with fuel live wells and 2 poles. It has an ETEC 225 2012 on it. I have a Raker 2 26 on it. I alao have a Razor 25 4 blade and haven't tried it. Anything helps.

BCB may be able to give you some ideas on prop options. There are not many Cats with the ETEC, so info may be limited.

This is easy, a 26 Raker is too large for a 225 ETec... thus we don’t expect that to have a hole shot.
Your going to need a smaller propeller if the 25” you have doesn’t give the performance you want.
24p bravo 1 will help or try fury 4 blade

I put a 4 blade Razor(marks prop) and I think that is going to do the trick. The only thing now is I need to cover some vent holes. Are mercury PVS plugs applicable on a evenrude HO motor ? Thanks for helping ?
Yes... but your better off with a merc prop.. I ran furys on all my etec engines!!! Yours would work well with a fury 25 or 24 depending on how loaded you are
