    So this happened

    with this in the livewell

Dropped from over 70mph to 50mp instantly. I thought I dropped a cylinder or something. I kept it on pad and limped to weigh in with 3 minutes to spare. The boat wouldn't move after weigh in. It died when I put it in gear. A couple guys had us back up to their boat when we figured it out and they cut enough of it out to get us moving to trailer it. The rest came off pretty easily after taking the prop off. I don't think it got in the seals but I'm going to pay close attention to them just in case.

yep, rope, and a lot of it. I was in the middle of the lake when I found it, or it found me.

We have people cut anchors off all the time with 50-60' of line out, my lake fluctuates 50-100' so we see the same thing. Sucks! You never said what the bag weighed??

I have a collection of anchors I've retrieved from floating ropes, hope everything is alright.
