I just picked up a new 2018 ZX 250 with a 52” Ultrex. The Skeeter cover the dealer provided me with does not fit the long shaft very well. Anyone know if Skeeter makes a version of the trave concern for longer shaft motors?

I don't think so. Not sure if they have changed but most stock boat covers don't fit the Ultrex well. If you have a 52" or a 360 it gets even tighter. I'm not sure if any manufacturer is accounting for this yet with their covers but hopefully soon. In the meantime what I did is took my cover to a custom auto upholstery shop and had them cut and sew in an additional strip of material in the cover. Its about 4 feet long and 3-6" wide which puts the strap down below the rubrail again. I also had them reinforce areas that could wear on my boat, and make a pocket for my 15" graph.

My cover was not ordered until I purchased the boat and was sent directly to me from Skeeter. It fits the Ultrex perfect.
I had a 52" Fortrex on my boat with Skeeter cover to fit it. I then upgraded to the 45" Ultrex and it fits perfect!
My FX21 DC was rigged with a 52" Fortrex. The Skeeter cover had written on the inside FX21 52" DC, so I assume that meant it was made to fit a dual console with a 52" TM. Since then I upgraded to a 52" Ultrex and a HB 360. Cover still fits fine.

Turn the prop out of the trolling motor out. It will still be tight but it'll fit.
