Not sure what a 12" will do on a Charger never drove one with that much set back. 2.5 seems just a little high my 186 liked it about 2-3/4" p2p run 65 gps with no walk at all. You could take your hands off the wheel on long open runs.

It has to be the 12" jp. I had a 98 or 97 195 and it would run right at 70 without any walking. It would get start getting real light right at WOT. Like 71 would've been the moment. I had a 6 or 8" jp. What prop?

not sure of brand of prop but it is a 23p four blade . It came off of a gambler. Was told it was used mainly on gamblers. If I get a chance this weekend a friend loaned me a 24 tempest to try.

Raise it to 2-21/2 prop to pad and it may need to go a tad higher being it has 12 inch.

Raise it some more I have ran 12 inch plates and the motor needs to be high as it’s farther back and it’s deeper in the water

Stick a worked Croxton 25-26 tempest on it you will be hauling ass!
