    St. Clair on the 20th-25th

I need a recommendation on equipment. If you only could take 3 combos what would you take and what would you tie on them?

3 baitcasters... Trap, spinnerbait, jerkbait... No need for anything else unless you enjoy dropping a tube on bed fish.

Given the colder start to spring and the full moon scheduled for the 29th, I think you will have a big wave coming up during that time.

My recommendations for that time frame would be a dropshot for beds, jerkbait, and a crankbait (DT6 & DT10) for searching. My alternatives would be a swimbait on 1/4-3/8oz jig head and a fluke/double fluke.

Add a shallow crankbait to the mix. With a tight wobble. Was killer for me Saturday.

I found males on beds this year already, when we had a couple days where the water cleared up enough to see.

You'll still have opportunities on some nice fish mid June. Just remember, the fish spawn at different times as you make your way south/down the lake. And the females will be feeding.

Thank you guys for your assistance. We are staying in New Baltimore and hope to fish Anchor Bay. What can we expect in the way of insect issues?

no bugs on AB today. Water temp was 60-61 in 7 fow near selfridge. My guess is we are at least 2-3 weeks away from the hex hatch if those are the bugs you’re asking about.
