    chambered or not chambered

For those of you that carry a semi without a manual safety, do you carry chambered or not chambered. My self I carry chambered just wondering what most people do.

When things go bad, the party is over in 4 seconds or less. Not chambered would be a bad option

Always chambered. A bad guy can cover 21 feet in less than 2 seconds and you just don't have time to chamber a round AND fire.

Chambered always...because it is a gun and I don't want to use it as a rock...and no manual safety on any of my carry guns.

I carry chambered but also always carry a pistol with a thumb safety. With practice, I can draw it and off-safety as fast as anyone without a safety.
