Louisiana Highschool State Championship on Toldeo Bend

My son Hunter and his partner Justin Jacob took 2nd place with 20.39lbs this past Saturday on Toledo Bend. Only 3ounces out of first place but they did a great job and couldn't be more proud of them. They qualified for Nationals at Kentucky Lake so looking forward to it. Here is the video of tournamnet day.

Love the song and it's on my ipod. Charlie Farley sings it. He found out it was Dylan Poche's favorite song and he now has Dylan's name on the windshield of his boat.

Great trip! I like ....that they used a rubber coated net on those bass...even the smaller ones. I do not like it when guys sling a bass 8 feet in the air, thump them on the deck, and let them flop on the carpet ...removing their protective slime. They may swim away alive...but who knows what happens to them a week or so later. The Pros also ...set a bad example for the younger anglers. They should do like MLF....and have the marshals deduct say...2 ounces for each bass that hits the deck.
Good luck to those youngsters on Kentucky Lake.
