    Any thoughts?

I am thinking about getting a different prop for my 21 xrd w/250 merc w/ tm 1.75 gears
the 28p bravo 1, really blows out bad when the boat breaks over out of the hole, I thought about trophy but was told they are even worse and they tend not to keep 4 blades on them very long either. Suggestions?

A foil will allow you to run a Bravo XS with no spin.

I love a promax, but you need to work on venting or set up if you can't get a bravo to holeshot

I have to feather the throttle when it breaks over or it will hit the rev limiter with bravo 1 coming out of the hole.

If all of the PVS holes are open I would start with one PVS plug first, and adjust it with the different hole sizes until I found the optimum. Probably going to be the medium sized hole plug for best all around.

A foil will add to the strength of your cav plate & help keep it from breaking.

I was very hesitant of the foil myself. In that case, and original Bravo1 with full flare will have good hole shot with very little spin. They come factory with no pvs holes so you would have to add those. I have feeling the prop you have is an XS, which having a short barrel, spins like crazy??

the barrel is short, I figured it had been cut off, I must further investigate the prop and see for sure. I know it is fast in the mid range and top end is really solid.
