Thoughts on the DIRTY hit by wilson. I feel a suspension is in order.

    Wasnt dirty!!!!

Led with his shoulder and the force is the only thing that brought him off the ice a little. He kept his arm and stick down and did everything right. Thats why there was no penalty on the play. If he gets a suspension then its obvious who the league wants to win the series

Go watch the replay again........regardless no reason to put a shoulder into the chin of another player. The NHL is becoming a joke by allowing this stuff

Do do people still really think that was a clean hit.......no penalty on the ice as the ref had his back turned protecting himself. Aweful.

Should have beem a 5 minute major and game misconduct

On NHL Future Forums over 500 people voted whether the hit was clean or dirty and 51% say it is dirty and 49% say clean. And I have issues because I think it's a clean hit? Sensationalize much?

Bs....how do you break someone’s jaw with a shoulder to shoulder check?

He is dirty and someone needs to send him a message!

That's right, Scott Stevens, his famous hip check, the good old days.

Yes - There is no place in the game for that type of BS play.

I have no issues with a hard hit, but this guy has 3 head shots in 9 playoff games this year.

It's an amazing game, but the way they let anything go in the playoffs is ridiculous.

I see a suspension in Wilson's future. The principle point of contact is definitely the head and the injuries are in line with that. It's the responsibility of the hitter to avoid head contact at all times. It doesn't matter if you're hitting Marchard or Chara, and it doesn't matter if the target moves right before the hit. Reese was turning inside and low on the ice. I don't think it was a dirty hit, meaning Wilson targeted his head, but that was the result and with the onus on the hitter, I predict a suspension.

^^^^^ It honestly would not surprise me if there wasn't a suspension.

There should be, but the NHL loves the goonery
