I just put a new Edge 55# 45” shaft on my 14 1/2 foot Alumacraft. I haven’t had it on the water yet. Does your post mean I’m going to be sorry?

On a 14-1/2’ boat, not at all! Great TM! Why we sell them is because a lot of 18-19 ft tin bassboats are coming with these on them, and we swap them for a 24V Tm. You’ll love it on your boat!
i had an Edge 55lb on my 17 ft Xpress, and it did fine.

Good! I hooked mine up to a deep cycle battery with 180 reserve capacity. My hull only weighs 550 pounds and the outboard weighs 150#. With everything on and in the boat I’m probably right at 900# or so.

I have my old 45# MG on a 14’ Sylvan flat bottom V hull. That my grandson tools around in our pond. It’s almost puts the boat on plane. More then enough.

i have a 105 on my boat and love it. the steering takes a trip or two to get used to from a minn kota, but i think its quieter and its almost 15 lbs lighter than my old maxxum pro. my only complaint is the power button on the side is very easy to trip to the off position
