250 PRO XS Trim Pump

My engine has 22 hours on it and the trim pump goes bad. Dealer is stating Mercury will no have one to ship for like two weeks. What's up with that??? Not happy!!!

Same here on slow on parts. Luckily even though it was slow wasn't near as long as they said. So keep your hopes up it may come sooner than you think.

My motor has 20 hours on it and when trimming down it sounds like it’s squealing. The dealer said it’s 2 weeks or longer until they can get to it. The trim still goes up and down but don’t sound right. What did yours do?

The pump is likely fine........grease the striker plates and lubricate the trim rod balls.

Did you check to see if the fluid is full and or not contaminated. Not sure exactly how you would check for contamination other using a syringe to withdraw fluid. My experience with a squealing sound, has been low fluid. Striker plates typically make a popping sound.
