    Lake Chesdin was tough Saturday

Took my son to fish for a few hours in morning. We caught 1 fish. Water was pretty muddy. Tried looking for some cleaner water and didn't really find any.

We tried buzzbait and whopper popper in morning with no luck. The one catch was on a chatterbait. We each lost a fish on spinnerbait.

When the water is that muddy are there other options? Others we talked to said they had only caught one or two as well.

I've found if you show up at the boat dock and the water looks like chocolate on chesdin, its best to turn around and head somewhere else.. never had a good day when the water was muddy there personally.

after the rain yesterday, probably going to be another week before it settles down.

Where do you all put it? Seven Springs is now $10, correct?

kevin, did you get your boat put back together? I think you were having work done on it a year ago.

Kevin, Seven springs marina has a yearly ramp fee. $160 per year, 12 months starting at date of purchase.

    Thanks for the info.

Not quite done with the boat. I'm only getting a couple of hours a week to work on it. Making progress but slow. Thanks for asking. It'll pretty much be a new Champion when I'm done.
